Hey Yall, Check out this action scene!!

Me & My friends made this sweet fight scene the other day, We Filmed it in about three hours with my Dig8 camera & it looks sweet, well not on here(Low quality)
We Made it pretty much just to see how well we could do a fight scene. Check it out!

my only criticism is that at times it was far too slow. I would of liked to have seen the parts where you are exchanging punches and counter at a faster than recorded speed to get that break neck speed that your fighting technique lacks. Had it had more fast stuff then i think the slow motion stuff would in turn of been more affective.

Does Anglefire allow you to upload big files? Just all the free providers ive tried limit your max size per file thus allowing no chance to upload movies.

Um, angelfire has a 20 mb limit, my vid was only like 11mb, so, If you save it as a 512kbps quicktime file(like I did) you can fit on pretty easy, You thinnk it should be a little faster? it comes out kinda cheesy looking if you do it to fast. I do think there was a little to much slow motion, Did you like the gunshot? My brother dan had to spit out fake stage-blood mixed with water for that part.
Were thinkin of using parts of this scene for a bigger movie Were gonna make during th summer.

you have imspired me enough to make my own kung fu scene when i get some free time. So let me in on the secret... where did you get all the sound effects? I think finding chop and punch sounds might not be too hard, but something like that sound effect when you have that flying kick about 50 seconds in... what sound is that?

try putting a link on the homepage to the movie and linking to the home page, that way youre not "hot linking" straight to the movie. Let me know how you get on cos anglefire seems like the one place i could actually host my movies for free.

The film was ok, however your fighting needs to be more rehearsed. Go into that field in your film and just rehearse until you are feed up with the fight until you know it off by heart, when I watched the film it was slow in places and I could tell you were holding your punches back, try re-framing some shots to hid the non-contact in your punches. It needs to be quicker.

it was very nice! you're getting there! you obviously know enough about martial arts/street fighting to do this sort of thing. one thing is that when someone gets hit they don't react enough, those look like some pretty hard punchs and the characters should recoil and whiplash a bit.

the metal pipe part could use a bit of work too, it didn't have quite the fast, perfect feel of a real sword fight. since learning japanese sword fighing i have been able to understand sword scenes much more, so that may be why i am complaining about that! in real sword fighing one hesetation and you're dead - game over. try practicing the sword part over and over, learning it in small stages. i have coreographed sword fights that way and you can work up to speed that looks terrifing to the casual observer. any way, all in all it was very good! stick in a tiny little bit of a story line and some costumes and then you can put this on atomfilms.com and get millions of viewers!

Thanks for the comments, yeah we probely coulda made it look a lot better, They wern't really even connecting about 75% of the time on that sword fight scene, We added the metal sound later. I'm only 15 & havn't been makin movies that long so Thanks for the tips.

For Beloved monster who was wondering about sound effects & Stuff, I did all the sound effects & music in program called acid, about half of the punch sounds & stuff were just downloaded of the internet, We used part of a music loop for that jump kick part. There was also like free cd with 1,000 sound effects that came with my video editing software (videofactory from sonicfoundry.com) so I used a lot of those.
